Born in 1957 in Güzelsu village of Akseki district of Antalya, Prof. Dr. Cevat ÖZPINAR graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1982 and took his first step in his medical career. Afterwards, he became Associate Professor in 1994 and Professor at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1999.

After successfully working as Vice Dean at Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine and Chief Physician at the Faculty of Medicine Hospital, he continued to work as Vice Rector at Selçuk University. Prof. Dr Cevat ÖZPINAR, who has received dozens of awards and more than a hundred domestic and international scientific publications throughout his career, has pioneered the training of many physicians during his academic life at the university.

As of 2009, Prof. Dr. Cevat ÖZPINAR, who brought a value to our country by leading the founding of Private Konya Farabi Hospital, continues his career as Chief Physician and Responsible Manager.
